Through my lens: Qutub Minar complex

No visit to Delhi is complete without paying an ode to the exquisite architecture. During my leisurely visit to Delhi for Diwali, I revisited the Qutub complex. Even this time, the stunning masterpiece in red sandstone mesmerized me.

Qutub minar is one an iconic symbol of New Delhi.  I found the image of the Qutub minar on my metro token.  Such is its stature.

Inspite of being one of the oldest monuments in Delhi, Qutub complex is rather well preserved. Much credit to the UNESCO World Heritage tag, inspite of the measly entry fee of INR 10 for Indian and INR 200 for foreigners, and no extra charge for cameras.

The easiest way to get here is to take the yellow line of the Delhi metro and get off at Qutub Minar station.  Once there, you can easily take a share rickshaw for INR 10/ person.
